Hi Luca
Thank you. Sorry I did not catch this before I requested the changes. Not sure if you saw Peter's response to me already. He has agreed to change the spec file so that on the next release collectd.cfg, reportd.cfg, and fetcher.cfg will not be overwritten by updates anymore.
There is no urgency to update again (can wait until next release) because most users will be installing tlsrpt-reporter software for the first time with the defaults and will not experience the inconvenience like us. Main thing is that the package installer was not working and now it does.
*** Until the next release, users with existing installs will need to copy a config backup to /etc/tlsrpt/ folder after an update and restart the services. ***
Mike

Betreff: Upgrade tlsrpt-reporter-0.5.0-2.gf.el9.x86_64 @gf
Upgrading tlsrpt-reporter resets its config files to default templates.
I don't think this should happen.
This way it breaks reporting. I don't use example.com or the default socket path.
Can it be configured in a way that next upgrades to this tool do not alter:
collectd.cfg fetcher.cfg reportd.cfg
Thanks,
Luca
